The American Student Dental Association (ASDA) is a national student-run organization that protects and advances the rights, interests, and welfare of dental students. It introduces dental students to lifelong involvement in organized dentistry and provides services, information, education, representation, and advocacy.

There are 66 ASDA chapters across the United States, which are grouped into 11 districts, each represented by a trustee.

District 3 represents 6 dental schools within Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C.
